SLCO

We are Sarsuna Lakshmi Charitable Organisation (SLCO). Our journey started on 2009. We are a group of friends who were willing to confront the odds and obstacles for the "not-so-fortunate" people basically children by enabling them to help themselves. Close to 70% of India still resides in rural and semi urban areas. 46% of children in India under 3 are malnourished. Knowing some of these fiercely facts we aspired to engage ourselves in such a mission that can carry out the fundamental requirements of the underprivileged.

As food, health, clothing and education are the prime necessities, we got all set to disengage the monsters of malnutrition, unhealthiness, dearth and educational deficiency. As soon as the need to adopt an integrated approach was felt we started to reach out to the left out sections of the society as well. In the year 2009 we were registered under the Society Registration Act, 1961.
